This is an 18” 1995 Kona Cinder Cone which has been completely rebuilt by hand with care and attention.
Tange Infinity Double butted Chromoly steel frame with original Triple Butted Project 2 forks.
Original paint.
She has a beautiful patina that tells a story of being well used and well loved.
Bontrager Corsair Wheelset, lovely matt black hubs laced to heavily patinated gloss black rims.
Wilderness Trail Bikes Front tyre, Continental Speed King rear. Ideal for off road conditions. If you are interested in switching these for a more road tyre please get in touch.
She rides like the wind with fast, responsive, slightly twitchy steering.
Ritchey Logic cantilever brakes with original Kona levers and new Fibrax brake pads.
Shimano LX Black cranks with lots of wear, polished until they shine. I love the way these turned out.
Black nylon pedals.
Chain tensioner keeps things nice and taut whilst giving a nod to the rear derailleur she once had.
Gold Half Link chain.
Red Suchi saddle on original Kona post. This thing is really comfortable and looks like a race car.
Kona Race Light bars with Vans x Cult grips.
Original Kona Velocity stem and Impact headset.
This bicycle is an absolute joy to ride, it’s exciting and feels fast, light and nimble.
