This is an 18” 1995 Kona Cinder Cone which has been completely rebuilt by hand with care and attention.
Tange Infinity Double butted Chromoly steel frame with original Triple Butted Project 2 forks.
Original paint which has been touched up with nail polish by previous owner. She has a beautiful patina that tells a story of being well used and well loved.
Original Shimano LX hubs laced to Mavic 237 rims.
She rides like the wind with fast, responsive steering.
The Worm Drive tires are great on the road or on trails when it’s dry.
Ritchey Logic cantilever brakes with original Kona levers and new Fibrax brake pads.
Sugino 175 cranks with Stronglight 32t chainring drives a single speed 14t cog with a custom spacer combination to spice it up.
Oxford Loam nylon pedals.
Chain tensioner keeps things nice and taut whilst giving a nod to the rear derailleur she once had.
Gold Half Link chain.
Red Selle Italia Flite Manganese saddle on a black Brand X post. Very fucking classy.
Bontrager Satellite bars with new lock-on DMR Deathgrips. Original Kona Race light bars available as an option if you’d prefer a flat bar.
Original Kona Velocity stem in a modified new Tange/inverted original Impact headset. This is to overcome the short steerer tube on the P2. Works like a charm and looks interesting.
This bicycle is an absolute joy to ride, it’s exciting and feels fast, light and nimble.
